Class Participation:
I have designed this course as a complex structure of interlocking units that will at times compliment each other, and at other times provide dissonance. This structure will call for you to develop two important writerly practices:
integral fragmentsYou will practice managing multiple conversations across time and dispersed across multiple fora (plural of "forum"), and along the way you will test the limits of maintaining integrity (wholeness) even while you pursue fragmentary possibilities.
Success in this course depends entirely on EACH student showing up, on time, having done the work, both inside and outside class, especially regarding your group responsibilities.
Furthermore, I will assume that you will be prepared for class, on time, and offer productive, frequent, and meaningful discussion and feedback on any texts covered, including your peers’ texts.
