Rubric for Blogging
>95%
In addition to meeting the criteria for 90%, in order to receive a grade for blogging at this level requires that the student post at least 3 significant blogs during the semester on their website for the course. Significant means: at least 250 words, using external links, images, videos, in-depth discussion that provokes (or at least attempts to provoke) replies.
>90%
The student exceeds the minimum requirements for blogging for the entire semester (2 primary blog posts and more than 2 responses per week of blogging, delivered in a timely and appropriate manner).
Note: this level of blogging calls for a high degree of ethical responsibility for what you write. As a result, a professional manner of delivery is to tweet your primary blog's URL to your followers once you've posted it, using the course hashtag for blogging (#wrts14d). Provide a provocative teaser to get people outside the class to read and even post responses on your blog.
